To consider admission, transfer applicants must indicate that in order to apply for federal and regional financial assistance, students must complete the application for federal education assistance (FAFSA). FAFSA is available in paper at all high schools and colleges. It can also be completed online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Online application is the recommended way to finalize THE FAFSA. Once FAFSA has been received and processed by the U.S. Department of Education, each FAFSA institution or university receives an electronic copy of the report. FAFSA treatment must be completed within four weeks. Title IV of West Liberty is code number 003823 and should be included in the FAFSA to allow West Liberty to access the application. Although we are moving quickly with technology, West Liberty is not a university where we will get lost in the shuffle. The atmosphere of the pm campus is friendly and informal. Classes are small and have an average of 25-30 students. Relationships in the classroom are close and you are encouraged to develop and express your individuality. West Liberty tries to educate the “whole” student: intellectual, social and personal.
No more than 72 hours of semester of a two-year college apply to a four-year degree. Transfer students must have at least 56 hours per semester of a four-year university that applies to their academic needs. All students must earn at least 36 hours of semester credit, including 15 hours in their main subject, at De West Liberty University. West Liberty understands that your needs as a transfer student are different from those of a typical newcomer. From the on-campus interview to the date of your courses, the admissions department works with you every step of the way to ensure a smooth transition. Transfer students can register at West Liberty University. Applications for transfer authorization are accepted throughout the year. To be considered eligible, transfer applicants must normally have a cumulative average of at least 2.0 (on a scale of 4.0). It is strongly recommended that a campus visit be made at an early stage of the transfer process.
